“I loved it. It was an absolutely
delightful love story that moves at a racking pace. But it’s also about finding yourself and
finding meaning in your life. A
delightful read. Full of humour. Full of irony.” Natalia Baker.

“Blackboards,
Bubbles and Cappuccinos is a novel, but with a strong
inspirational and self-help element. The story revolves around
Robin, an executive toying with life in the corporate world, and
Michael who has given it all up to follow his dream to run a
coffee shop with a blackboard to write down inspirational lines.
As Robin climbs up the corporate ladder and Michael surrenders to
his dream, both have changes in their lives that they were not
expecting. Interspersed into the story are Tearle’s pearls of
wisdom or meditative mantras. Most of them you want to read over
and over again, or write down in a special place to access when
you are feeling down, undervalued and lost on your path. These
inspirational sayings, the wisdom of Michael, mean that the book
should not be read at face value as that of a novel, but
appreciated in small doses before going to bed, or early in the
morning. Reading the book this way allows the reader the maximum
benefit to the various ideas that Tearle is hoping the reader to
leave with. Many people, who are trapped in life, especially the
corporate life filled with its daily stress, would do well to read
this book and learn more about themselves in the process. The
inspirational thoughts can be purchased separately as cards.”

I
so related to the challenges your protagonists were having to deal
with, it was like looking into a magic mirror of
possibility. Sheryl

One of the nicest things about this book is that one
almost doesn't have to read it... The story flows at you from the
pages at a light, gentle and yet powerful pace. You
describe today's "Searching City Cafe Society" to the T! May the many that are still searching for happiness and
meaning read this book and discover the peaceful surrendering
simplicity that is one's destiny - even though it is surrounded by
the structured franticness of today's modern existence. Bernu
Henning. Ernst & Young.
Empowerment between two covers! It inspires me, with
every read, to live a life that reflects my deepest values and to
fully be the author of my own experience, creativity and most
treasured dreams. Hannelie Minnaar. Tshwane University of

A great read to give
you wisdom that will speak to you from the inside out. The book
covers the typical challenges of a person on their journey to
achieving a key goal or vision for their life (on their spiritual
journey). It develops all the ideas of how to handle tough
situations, have the intuition to go for the right opportunity,
how to move out of your comfort zone and many other nuggets of
wisdom. It needs to be read once quickly at one sitting to attain
the overall framework of the book and then one needs to deeply
immerse yourself into and mediate on each message/chapter so that
the wisdom becomes internalize. It is easy to read and is for
everybody! Rob Katz. Business Person and Academic. Currently doing
his doctorate on spiritual leadership at University of

I really felt as though your book was speaking to me
personally and it touched on so many things that I've been
struggling with for some time, the "Jo'burg disease" as
I affectionately call it. Thank you again, you have
certainly succeeded in affecting my life and my future and given
me the courage to change my path. Genevieve v.d. Vyver.

I thoroughly enjoyed
reading Blackboards, Bubbles & Cappuccinos and although it is
an easy and fun read it provides one with great truths and
insights Ann Bennetts. Engen.
Reading Blackboards,
bubbles and cappuccinos was heartwarming, inspiring, and
challenging and left me contemplating my work choices on another
level. It made me evaluate my purpose and passions and weigh up my
risk profile. I couldn’t put this book down, and it lured me
back when I did – even after I had finished reading it. Gav

I loved your book - Blackboards, Bubbles and
Cappucinos - a truly inspirational journey through the pages of
your book to the inner workings of my mind. You have a way of
making me think in ways I never thought before, bringing to light
new concepts, ideas, feelings that I dare say we need in this day
an age of negativity in the soul-crushing rat race.
I looked forward to visiting Soul Cafe. It gave a chance to
restore some of what was lost in the drudgery of the day. Celine Hendricks. Smartsource (Pty) Ltd.
Ruth's
book is magnificent. It takes spiritual intelligence and
translates it in to everyday language. Words of wisdom are
easy to quote, to give people the insight and ability to
behave wisely is a gift, Ruth has done this with Blackboards,
Bubbles and Cappuccinos. Denny Piovesan. Director Soul Discovery.
In the two words:
"Thank you!" I hope you find all the Gratitude from my

knowledge/wisdom with anyone ready to listen and a small
meditation group; that I am facilitating, in a wonderful, creative
way. Amanda

“I just finished your book – Blackboards,
Bubbles & Cappuccinos. At work, we decided we’ll place a
blackboard in a central point in our office complex where we can
post wisdom. I truly enjoyed the book and even pushed my studies
aside to finish it! Life often have strange ways to take us on
unexpected roads to our destiny – if we Let Go and let God!
Thanks for all the wisdom in the book. It really addressed
some of my blind spots and some of the more obvious one I struggle
with. You captured so much to think about in an easy to read
way.” Surina Bloem
Recently
a good friend in his wisdom imparted a gift to me before I
departed on a long business trip with the message enjoy the
Chocolates and the Cappuccino’s. In my simple mind I thought he
gave me some instant Cappuccino’s to enjoy with a box of
chocolates. Well…………………the
Cappuccino’s turned out to be your book Blackboards, Bubbles
& Cappuccino’s! The
title intrigued me and during the quiet hours that followed
allowed me to read this book in its entity and ample time to
meditate on the complexities of life encountered by so many. It
covers the erosion of those lives that stay in search and who
eventually have the courage and determination to move from a
dysfunctional lifestyle through reflection and personal mastery to
one of virtues, values and a better understanding of who they are.
It is definitely a recommended read to all! To
me, I received a treasured gift and enjoyed the chocolates in the
end! Elma Hancock CEO – Academy of Learning SA (Pty) Ltd.
